Problem: Screen Features Don't Work
Many pages on this site use Frames, standard ActiveX controls, and Javascript to clarify and enhance your visit here. Older browsers will not display these items correctly. With modern browsers, it's possible to turn off these features and, again, the pages won't display correctly. We've had one report of a modern browser failing to display items; it turned out that their Internet Explorer 5 had been mis-installed. We do nothing unusual, by the way, so if you're having problems here, you're probably having them on other sites, too.
Solutions:
To make screens appear properly on this (and other sites), we recommend:
Update your browser to the latest version. This site is designed for Internet Explorer 5 and checked with Netscape 4.7. (Minor differences between IE and Netscape exist. The same page might not look identical in both browsers. Functionality, however, should not be affected.)
Enable ActiveX and Javascript in your browser, if disabled. If they are enabled but features still don't work, re-install or update your browser.
On the C300 Home Page (only), choose the "No Frames" mode by clicking the [No Frames] link -- found at the bottom of the left panel. Besides removing frames, this mode also avoids ActiveX/Java use.
Comments:
If you've followed our recommendations, but the screen still doesn't display correctly, please email the webmaster. Please mention your browser brand and version number plus a detailed description of the problem.
Nearly every page on this site has music attached to it. Are you receiving our sounds? If not, here's why and what to do about this situation.
Background:
Let's get beyond the easy stuff first.
Your computer MUST have sound capability! You can't hear our sounds if you don't have an audio card and speakers, correctly installed and working with other sound sources.
Your computer MUST play Midi and RMI music. If incorrectly set up, some systems will reproduce WAV squeaks and chirps but not Midi music.
Your browser MUST support audio playback! If it can't, download a modern browser.
Your browser MUST have sound enabled. If it doesn't. re-enable audio. (See your help screens for how.)
As of this update, we've fixed the Netscape sound problem!
You must install the proper plug-ins for Midi and RMI files into Netscape; see the Netscape home page for help on this issue. ( Internet Explorer requires only that Windows itself is able to play Midi files.)
Not all pages have yet been updated with the dual-standard coding. Please be patient.
Several pages within this website offer you the opportunity to download forms and text files. Please be aware of these options:
